Rock recommendations and Decompression Therapy

If you like a little humor with your rock then this might be for you. This British band has been around since 2007 and has been compared to Nirvana and Foo Fighters.

Though the song is called “No Fun” that might be an oxymoron. More Brit cheekiness. Really you’re no fun at a party.

Here’s a retro rock blast from 1998. This song from the Myles Kennedy led Spokane, Washington band spent 5 weeks at #1 on my personal chart and was my #21 song of the year.

Kennedy is the lead vocalist for the band Alter Bridge and collaborates with Slash as vocalist on many of his songs. The gorgeous rock ballad “Watch Over You” was my #3 song of 2009. It was also the unofficial theme song of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” haha. “Driving Rain’ was a top 5 rock radio song and a #1 on my chart in 2018.

Finally here is one of the most emotionally impactful song I have heard in a long time. It starts as a heartland rock ballad and transcends to another dimension. It is a commentary on a relationship in our current over-saturated world. Intense. All of these songs will be featured on an upcoming playlist called “Rock Decompression Therapy”. The first in a series of new playlists that will be featured on the site.

The new music playlists will not go away either. I add new genre playlists every 2 months keeping you up to date on what the personal chart community is listening to and the radio is playing.
