Beyond Radio Tim’s Top 150, Sept. 3 2017
There was no way that I could have predicted at the beginning of the year that the 80’s rock band Night Ranger would have 2 songs reach my top 2 in 2017. “Don’t Let Up” does what “Somehow Someway could do but in the end the latter is the stronger song. It had to settle for #2 because of the 7 week run of Josh Gracin.
Twin Wild has now had 2 #1’s and a #2 on my chart in the last year. This week’s #3 is a 9 year old song but new to me. It has that cheeky British pop rock sound that I love.
I’m thinking Demob Happy, a band that formed in the same year may have next week’s top tune, though Kensington could have a slight chance.
