Inaugural Untapped Resources 250 Chart

Here are the top 50 for this weeks all format Untapped Resources 250. The full chart will be posted tomorrow. This week’s #1 is the ethereal “Don’t Delete The Kisses” by Wolf Alice, pushing Sara Evans “Marquee Sign down to #2. Also making a nice move from 19-3 is the second single of 2017 for UK band Nothing But Thieves. “Sorry” sounds like it has Pop or at least HotAC potential. Also moving into the top 5 is the Lowell, Massachusetts alt band Pvris (pronounced Paris), who have started to receive airplay for the second single from their album released last Friday, “All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need From Hell”.

A combination of U.S. & International airplay plus performance on the BR250 affect which songs go from Untapped to “Hit” status. Generally a song that makes the top 25 on the BR 250 will graduate to “Hit” status as well as songs that have achieved a certain level of airplay at the major genre formats. Additionally I will be looking into bringing songs that are short lived at radio back into the untapped fold.
