My January 1970 Personal Chart and Blog

This month’s playlist is a countup and there is an accompanying blog.  I did not do a personal chart in 1970 (I was only 8) so I put together a chart based on how I feel about the songs now. This period of time saw the start of the careers of Elton John, Chicago and The Carpenters along with one of the most masterful albums of all time. The blog is a mix of personal anecdotes, fun facts about artists and connections between songs, with a bit of chart information. It has been quite fun to do the research on this and I plan on continuing this practice as time allows. The playlists counts up my top 100 of the month and then other songs I bring up in the blog.
