Beyond Radio’s Personal Chart Adds Top 100, Mar.  8 (tracking week ending Mar. 4)

After last week’s  #2 debut and a jump to #1, Pink and Zedd f/ Katy Perry switch positions. Pink only received 2 more adds that Zedd but 8 of those were top 10 debuts, including 2 #1 debuts. “365” only managed 1 top 10 debut out of its’ 17 adds so in point total it lags by almost 500 points.

 

Beyond Radio darling Carly Rae Jepsen sees a #3 debut for her new ultra-catchy single “Now That I Found You”. One of the things I like about her is that she has not fallen victim to the EDM-Pop trappings most other pop artists have. She still makes exuberant upbeat dance-pop songs. Why is there no room on radio for these songs. Sad, sad, sad.

James Bay leaps into the top 5 with “Peer Pressure” in its’ 2^nd week out. His collaborator on this song, Julia Michaels has 4 collaborations out right now (including Niall Horan, Selena Gomez and 5 Seconds of Summer) that all saw at least 1 add this week.

 

Ariana Grande spends a 3^rd week in top 5 with “Break Up…” (3-5) while Cardi B and Bruno Mars remain in the top 10 for a 2^nd week falling 5-8 and Marina jumps back in at #6 with “Handmade Heaven”.

3 other titles enter the top 10 in their 2^nd week out lead by Reba with her ultra-retro country tune “Stronger Than The Truth” at #7, Adam lambert’s emotive and vulnerable “Feel Something” at #9 and DJ Martin Garrix’ 2^nd collab with Bonn on “No Sleep” at #10.
