It’s looking like 2017 will be the year of The Dear Hunter,now with 3 songs in the top 10, a former #1 still in the top 20 and a 5th song starting to make a quick ascent up the chart. There will undoubtedly be more to follow.
The Last Bandoleros score a second top 10 with “Adios” another tex-mex country rock party song. Where’s the radio with this band? Mother Mother are in fine form with “The Drugs”. In 2011/2012 they scored 4 top 5 songs on my chart, including 2 #1’s, “The Stand” and “Problems”. Both current songs could be contenders for the top spot in the coming weeks.
