In deciding my #1 this week, after seeing the new video for “Vowels” it helped secure the top spot. I hope radio doesn’t miss out on this infectious song. Sunset Sons can still claim the lead position in the coming weeks.
There is not huge action in the top 20 with end of year activity dominating. Red Sun Rising have now had 3 songs in my top 100 this year with “Amnesia” the first to reach the top 10. Humorous video from the melodic hard rockers.
Another melodic rock band, this time from the Netherlands, Kensington inches up to #6 but still has growth potential. It will most likely become the band’s 4th song to reach my top 5.
