Beyond Radio’s Personal Chart Adds Top 100, Feb. 15 (tracking week ending Feb. 11)
These charts are based on most of the charts available on M4B, Pulse, Haven, Buzzjack and UKMix along with the other personal charts that Beyond Radio tracks.
This week’s top 10 were all in the top 40 last week. Billie Eilish moves 10-1 with “Bury A Friend” with 17 adds. This marks her 3rd song to surpass 25 total chart entries and her 2nd song to reach the Alternative airplay top 50 in the U.S.
Right behind Eilish is the decade old alt rock band from Kentucky Cage The Elephant up 38-2 on 15 adds. This song has shot right into the upper reaches of the Alternative and AAA airplay charts after only 2 weeks in release.
The next 4 titles are all holdovers from last week’s top 10 with Dua Lipa slipping 1-3, and a trio of alt bands right behind; Florence & The Machine, The Foals and Vampire Weekend.
At #7, Lizzo returns to the top 10 for a 3rd time in 6 weeks out. So far the song is performing best in the UK where it is top 10 in airplay. I hope it sees some Pop love in the U.S.
The Swedish electronic duo Galantis may see their best performance stateside with their latest “Bones” featuring OneRepublic (32-8). Internationally they have had a number of big songs since 2014.
Rounding out the new entries to the top 10 are the UK band White Lies, whose song “Tokyo” (40-10) is the 4th single from the 5th album since 2009, the aptly titled “Five”.
2 songs make the top 20 in their 1st week, Marina minus the Diamonds in at #19 with “Handmade Heaven” and Future Unlimited at #20 with the new wave influenced “Falling”.
