The BR250, May 21 2018
The combo of Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa makes a nice jump from 9-1 displacing 6 week reigner Janelle Monae. Also surging in a big way is Ariana Grande with “No Tears Left To Cry” up 38-3. With that kind of momentum it could displace “One Kiss” on the next chart.
Grande possesses one of seven new titles in the top 25 including Panic At The Disco!, Charlie Puth, Foster The People, James Bay, Carrie Underwood and Bazzi. Underwood sees the biggest increase, moving 89-24 followed by Panic with a 35-16 jump.
With a 22-12 move Sia reaches the top 15 for the 1st time since last October when her collab with Zayn “Dusk Til Dawn” reached #9. It’s been quite a bit longer for David Guetta who hasn’t been at this level for at least 3 years.
Speaking of Zayn he sees the highest new entry in the top 100 with his current single “Let Me”, up 80 points from 128-48. Not far behind is the controversial “This Is America” by Childish Gambino. Billboard’s current Hot 100 #1 enters the list at #59.
Other notable entries to the top 100 include Friendly Fires “Love Like Waves” (292-72), Celine Dion’s “Ashes (736-73) and Florence + The Machine’s “Hunger” (541-76).
