Leading ladies on the latest Untapped Top 250

The top 10 is ruled by the ladies on this week’s Untapped Resources chart. 2 female led bands rise to the top 2 positions and ironically the singers collaborated on the song “Bury It” from Chvrches previous album “Every Open Eye”.

 

Jesse McCartney started his career on the soap opera “All My Children” and then joined the boy band Dream Street in 1999. “Better With You” prevoews his upcoming 6^th studio album.

 

The color pink occupies the next 2 spots with Janelle Monae’s “Pynk” moving 50-4 and Pink’s “Whatever You Want”, already released internationally as her next single and set to impact radio here later this month, rises 37-5.

 

The latest UK single from Paloma Faith, a remake of Mama Cass’ “Make Your Own Kind Of Music” from 1969 jumps 74-6. The original song, surprisingly only peaked at 36 on the Billboard chart and never made the official UK chart.

 

The moves of the top 6 displace Kacey Musgraves and Lorde by 2 positions with Kim Wilde falling from 1-10 mostly due to a surge on the BR250 from 114-68.

 

Rounding out the top 10 is the latest single from Franz Ferdinand, up 237-9 and the first from the album “Always Ascending” to reach the UR top 10. In January the title track reached #17 on the BR250 and the next single “Feel The Love Go” peaked at #50 on the BR250 in February.
