1,2 Punch

The 1, 2 punch at the top continues this week with “Shape Of You” extending its lead although ‘Castle’ gets more adds this week. Elsewhere in the top 10 action is pretty sparse. 3 songs do enter the top 25 for the first time with Goldfrapp’s “Anymore” with the largest surge, moving 62-19. Behind her Jamiroquai has another good week, up 44-23 and Sean Paul continues his resurgence since guesting on Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” with a small move, 27-25.

Among the top 100 debuts there are 5 big moves, 4 of which are by commanding artists. Previewing her 4th album, Katy Perry sees 24 adds and a move from 301-28 with “Chained To The Rhythm”. Perennial alt-rock band Depeche Mode have the second most adds with 16 and jump 183-37 with “Where’s The Revolution?” After a quiet year Imagine Dragons are back with “Believer”, up 127-49 and Mariah Carey’s umpteenth comeback sees “I Don’t” vaulting 194-76. Rounding out the 5 big moves is Martin Garrix with assist from relative newcomer Dua Lipa on “Scared To Be Lonely” (121-60).
