Caitlyn Smith, country’s new voice

Country and AAA’s new voice Caitlyn Smith dominates my latest chart with 3 titles in the top 10, “Starfire” currently at #1, former #1 “Contact High” at #3 and the gorgeous “Tacoma” at #6. This artist deserves your attention.

Former #1 LCD Soundsystem’s “Tonite” continues to amuse at #2, a former 2 week #1. Love the insistent beat and lyrical content.

 

After 28 weeks Smallpools finally reach the top 5 with “Centerfold” clearly a song I have not tired of.

 

Rounding out the top 5 is another from Canada’s July Talk who have definitely clicked with me in the past year.

 

Another Canadian band that similarly has been doing very well for me is the Arkells. Their brand new song “People’s Champ” should ascend my chart rapidly.
