Beyond Radio is the place where music discovery and music nostalgia collide. It is your one-stop source for playlists, music charts, remembrances and recommendations. Our Podcast and music therapy playlists combine elements of nostalgia and discovery, while my blog entries reflect on our musical past through the lens of my personal charts from decades past. I weave a story that includes the connection between artists, chart facts and personal anecdotes that hopefully conjure a connection to the soundtrack of your own life. The current charts and playlists are updated monthly or bi-monthly (bi-weekly for the BR250) and are curated based on a passionate audience that produce their own personal charts weekly.
A lot of activity in the top 25 starting with Justin Timberlake ascending to #3 in his second week fueled by 24 more adds. Radiohead and Pink surge into the top 10 and Red Hot Chili Peppers move 56-16. Outside the top 25 the big moves into the top 100 are Dami Im with “Sound Of Silence” (different from the Disturbed remake) at #45, Ariana Grande’s “Into You” at 52 and Adele at #63 with “Send My Love”. The highest debut is the new single from OneRepublic “Wherever I Go” at #107 with 22 adds out of the box.

A couple of changes this week. The first is the charts have a date change. The chart week ends on Thursdays so I’ve decided to post the new charts on Monday and Tuesday. Also on the BR250 page instead of posting the previous months chart next to this week’s chart I will be posting a month to date chart so as to keep things more current. We’ll see if I can do that on the genre chart pages as well.
